We moved to the new house mid-July. There has been a grey tabby hanging around our yard, living under our deck, probably the one that sprayed the car. I’m not into checking every cat for Lost and Found since our boys developed a spraying problem. We used to always take a cat inside, keep it in the crate, take it to the vet to have them scanned for a chip. So, let’s be the crazy neighbors that move in and kidnap a neighborhood cat? Nah. We thought maybe the previous occupant ditched him outside, and this was why he was always here.

Turns out the neighbor 2 doors down is as bad as I am with rescuing animals. We met her last week and she said she’d been feeding him and calling him Mr Grey. She was finally able to capture him this week and get him to the vet for a scan.

HE HAD A CHIP.

NOT ONLY DID HE HAVE A CHIP – HIS PREVIOUS OWNERS DIDN’T DITCH HIM

Galileo got out of his home through a window screen about a month ago. His parents were very happy to hear he was okay and coming home.

He lived about a mile away and got lost.

Chips, people.
