I wrote about the Gatefeeder in May  and I tried to find it’s niche in our household.

Since that time, Tommy Gargoyle has been placed on a diet. I packed up the Aikiou, and I feed Tommy on the counter and the other cats on the floor at 5-6 hour intervals. Sometimes certain cats are sleeping and don’t make it down until the next feeding and by then they are a bit more cranky.

Yue, Stewart and Amalie are wearing collars with RFID tags that allow them to open the Gatefeeder door.

Yue and Stew use it every day. Amalie still relies on me for her meals.

It has it’s place in my household as a secure, free-feeder.
