I’m beginning to think that Tommy is a bit over his weight because I am overweight. I don’t constantly give him snacks or give in to his demands and when he plays he plays hard but I see a pattern.
When I’m stressed and pacing and staring in front of the fridge or pantry and maybe even walking away empty handed, he’s pacing and whining and rubbing my leg and crying at me why he can’t have anything.
When he wakes up, he goes to his dish. When he’s done playing, he goes to his dish. When he’s upset, he goes to his dish.
It’s got diet premium everything food in it but it’s a free feeder because there are three other girls in this house, weights 8, 10 and 11 lbs.
I honestly think he’s getting his bad habits from me. When I was happy and thinner, he was happy and thinner.
Tommy Puma Gargoyle is my best bub ever. I think we clicked into each other a little too hard. Even if I feel like crap and don’t want to lose the weight I stop and think , “what have I done to my kitty?”
