I often shop clearance items at big store pet chains in order to maintain a variety for all species in my home. Over the last few months there have been several “foraging packs” from Lafeber’s being reduced to move out of stock. There have also been candied pine cones dusted with peas and carrots, sunflower seeds or coconut and priced attractively near $1. Currently, I have seen different sizes and varieties of Higgins Worldly Cuisines marked down significantly and not usually set to expire in less than 90 days.

I picked up a regularly $4.99 bag, marked to $1.20, which rang up at 70 cents.
